In October of 2006, I visited my friends Rose Amador and Sundust Martinez in San Jose, CA. They host a program called Native Voice TV, which features many local and national Native people in many various artistic disciplines. I was featured in one of their episodes. In March of 2006, I produced, filmed and edited a series of five 28-minute programs for the American Indian Community House Gallery during their 2005-2006 gallery season. Those showing their work included Jeffrey Gibson (tribe), Janice (tribe), Star Walling Bull (tribe), Maria Hupfield (Ojibway), Barry Ace (Ojibway) and Bill Miller (Mohican). These programs aired on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (www.mnn.org) in New York City. This was my first attempt at editing with Final Cut Pro. In the Fall of 2003, I attended a digital filmmaking class at Film/Video Arts. The class worked on a 4 minutes film together and we were allowed to edit our own versions. Here is mine.
